With this publication we want to highlight the crucial role of molecular design in the production of valuable substances and the develop of the industrial sector. This is due to the fact that the importance of molecular structure lies not only in its intricate organization and bonding of atoms, but also in its influence on the physical and chemical properties of the chemical substances and materials.
 
Consequently, the exploration of the intricate interplay between molecular structure and its properties has led to the design of new products with specific characteristics. In this area, an important role is played by Organic Chemistry, whose methods allow to modify the molecular structure to optimize performance, minimize toxicity, improve degradability and overcome previous limitations.
 
In the specific field of antioxidants, the modification of key molecules has allowed the creation of versatile antioxidant families, perfectly adapted to diverse environments and to the requirements of various sectors such as nutrition, lubricant and cosmetic.
